We drew inspiration from an ancient Chinese legend. During the chaotic years at the end of the Qin Dynasty, warlord Xiang Yu was defeated in battle. His beloved, Lady Yu, refused to leave him behind and took her own life by the sword.
Later, a flower was said to have grown from her grave — its slender stems swayed even without wind, and its vibrant red petals resembled fresh blood. Locals believed this flower was Lady Yu reborn, transformed by love and sorrow. They named it Yumeiren, meaning “Beautiful Yu,” to commemorate her loyalty and tragic love.
