Yes, each piece is handcrafted from start to finish by a single artist in Jingdezhen. From shaping the clay and carving the texture to painting the ginkgo design and applying the glaze—every detail is done by hand using traditional techniques.
Will the hand-painted ginkgo design fade?
Not at all. The underglaze technique ensures the pattern is sealed beneath the surface and fired at 1300°C, making it highly durable even with everyday use.
Can I use it in the microwave or dishwasher?
It’s best to hand wash this cup with warm water to preserve the glaze and hand-painted finish. We don’t recommend using it in a microwave or dishwasher.
Is the size suitable for daily coffee or tea?
Yes, absolutely. With a diameter of 10 cm and height of 7 cm, it holds around 230–240 ml—just right for a daily latte, tea, or any hot beverage.
Does it come with a saucer or matching pieces?
